Chandrayaan-3 big update :

After completing their initial task successfully Vikram lander and Pragyan rover of Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft entered into state of hibernation on September 2.

Sunlight began receding on Shiv Shakto point on September 30, starting a lunar night .

All hopes of reviving Chandrayaan 3 ‘s Vikram lander and Pragyan rover have been out to rest as the Lunar night has set in and cast a long shadow on Shiv Shakti point , the spacecraft’s landing site.

Sunlight began receding on Shiv Shakti point on September 30 , starting a lunar night. Shiv Shakti point is located between Manzinuz C and Simpelius N creator , around 4200 kms from Lunar North pole . Lunar night refers to a period of darkness on the moon’s surface that last for 14 days. Temperature on tha Lunar surface are known to dip as 180 degree Celsius during the lunar night. Vikram lander and Pragyan rover are dependent on sunlight for their functioning.

After accomplishing their initial task successfully Vikram lander and Pragyan rover of Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft entered into a state of hibernation on September 2 . Since then multiple attempts have been made to revive the lander and rover in hope that they might have survived the last lunar night circle.

The European station in kourou and ISRO telemetry tracking and command network (ISTRAC)in Bengaluru had been attempting to revive the duo but not to avail. The present lunar night , however marks an end to the mission since it is impossible to servive for lander and rover in the harsh weather conditions.

S Somnath, the Chief of Indian Space Research and Organisation (ISRO) , believes that Chandrayaan-3 mission will largely success in his mission.

That all success dedicated to all employees of ISRO that’s so commendable and It’s a proud moment of all Indians.
